Browse Pros who list personal care experience on their profile. When sending a booking request, describe your needs clearly in the message so the Pro can confirm they are able to help. For complex requirements, you would need to choose the right carer that meets your needs. DayFriend is a marketplace that connects you with independent Pros, it does not provide, manage or direct care itself. Personal and Complex Care Pros hold an Enhanced DBS certificate checked before their profile goes live.
Personal support is available across Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire, including Chester, Wigan, Wirral and Leyland.

About the role
Personal & Complex Care companions provide hands-on physical assistance, including intimate personal care tasks. You must have relevant experience and list it clearly on your profile. Decline any booking where the required care exceeds your documented experience. Accepting a booking beyond your stated experience may result in removal from the platform.
Companion requirements
- Self-employed Enhanced DBS with Adults Barred List check through uCheck, approved by DayFriend before your profile goes live
- Your profile remains hidden until the DBS check is manually approved
- Document and list your personal care experience on your profile
- Decline bookings where care needs exceed your documented experience
